We have been providing IT Consultancy and Website Development services to Young NTUC since 2006.
THE CHALLENGE
Young NTUC approached us back in 2006 to look at ways in which we can allow Young NTUC members to interact better. We suggested that they revamp their forum engine and helped started the forum from scratch. We also helped in the programming support of event registration forms.
THE SOLUTION
We have proposed several solutions, like Forum, Event Registration Management, Team Young NTUC Sub-Website Management over the years:
There are not many forummers chatting in the previous forum. We started the forum with a new engine and migrated the relevant posts into the new forum engine because the previous forum had lots of unmoderated and spam posts. We were also in charge of moderating and upgrading the forum with new features as well as attract new forummers and welcome new forummers coming to the forum to post for the first time.

We recruited several members through our friends network, active forummers from other forum, social networks like Friendster, Facebook and Twitter as well as through new signups via Young NTUC email blast. Since 2006 till now, we are altogether able to achieve 1000 members with over 51000 posts. We continue to be active in welcoming forummers, moderation and upgrading the forum regularly, and members feel warm to be part of the forum.
