We have been providing IT Consultancy and Website Development services to Young NTUC since 2006.

THE CHALLENGE
Young NTUC approached us back in 2006 to look at ways in which we can allow Young NTUC members to interact better. We suggested that they revamp their forum engine and helped started the forum from scratch. We also helped in the programming support of event registration forms.

THE SOLUTION
We have proposed several solutions, like Forum, Event Registration Management, Team Young NTUC Sub-Website Management over the years:

We recruited several members through our friends network, active forummers from other forum, social networks like Friendster, Facebook and Twitter as well as through new signups via Young NTUC email blast. Since 2006 till now, we are altogether able to achieve 1000 members with over 51000 posts. We continue to be active in welcoming forummers, moderation and upgrading the forum regularly, and members feel warm to be part of the forum.

THE CHALLENGE
Client have been in business for around 30 years in business and they are a distributor/retailer dealing in ribbons. They would like to revamp their website so that it can have an online catalogue for their products, in which they can self-update easily. If retailers are interested in taking orders, the retailers can fill up an online order form, and the order will be sent to Kin Soon via email.

THE SOLUTION
System Analysis, Database design and Web Development (excluding web design as it was done by a third party) :

1. Administrator Login
• To protect the administration page from public access
• Only 1 user admin account

2. Manage Product: Product Catalogue listing
• List products in catalogue
• Organised by categories
• View product sizes and popup color chart.

3. Product Catalogue Administration

• Add/Edit/Delete catalogue items
• Add/Edit/Delete product
• Upload product photos, sizes info & color chart

4. Order Form
• Retailer submit order form, information will reach a user email account.

WEBSITE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT
Project Scope: Web site design & development consisting of back-end programming, image sourcing and enhancement, research, graphics, content creation, navigation enhancement and site optimisation.

We implemented a Student Management System for Lincoln School of Management using similar engine that was build for Victoria University, Switzerland.

WEB DEVELOPMENT AND BACK-END PROGRAMMING SUPPORT
System Analysis, Database design and Web Development (excluding web design as it was done by a third party) :

1. Member Module – Enables administrator to manage member basic contact information centrally instead of having to manage them from excel file.
2. News / Event Management – Administrator can upload a new event to announce (stores the following information: title, desc, date, venue, image, cost)
3. Story / Case Study Module – Administrator can upload a case study to showcase (title, desc, date, venue, image1, image2, cost)
4. Email Blast – Administrator can send email blast to members.

WEB DEVELOPMENT AND BACK-END PROGRAMMING SUPPORT
Web Development support will be rendered on an individual project basis taking into consideration the scope of the project as well as project timeline. Details will be discussed with the Project Coordinator in charge of the particular project. Services rendered:
